Shaquille Rashaun O’Neal Life, Family, Career & Dreams

Shaquille Rashaun O’Neal, better known as “Shaq” is an American former professional basketball player who played for the Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, and Phoenix Suns. He is considered one of the most successful players in NBA history, with various awards and honours. O’Neal was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2018.

Shaquille O’Neal was injured on Christmas day when he fell on his right Achilles. He had to miss the Heat’s game against the Brooklyn Nets and was not available to play in their next game. The injury effectively ends his season. O’Neal became the first player to lead the NBA in scoring. He averaged 28.5 points per game for a career-high 764 games, leading the league in scoring eight times and in rebounding three times.

Personal Life

As a young boy, Shaquille Rashaun O’Neal was raised by a Baptist mother and a Muslim stepfather. Both parents were professional athletes, and their children were always taught to respect both faiths. When Shaquille was just 11 years old, his father died in a car accident. O’Neal’s mother continued to raise him as a Muslim, and after he turned 15 she married him. They have two children together- daughter Kia and son Kiari.

Although they are an openly Muslim family, O’Neal says he still visits the Baptist church where he was baptized when he was younger because it is “an important part of my life.” He also toys with the idea of converting to Islam but is undecided on whether or not he wants to become fully religious.

On December 26, 2002, Shaquille O’Neal married Shaunie Nelson. The couple has four children: Shareef (born on December 26, 2003), Tareq (born on February 3, 2006), Kiari (born on March 2, 2009) and Amala (born on May 31, 2011).

Shaquille Rashaun O’Neal has filed for divorce from his wife Shaunie. The news was first reported by TMZ.com and has since blown up on the internet. Many people are wondering why the former NBA player decided to file for divorce, but there is only one answer- because he was not happy with Shaunie. The couple had been married for six years and had two children together. However, after a series of disagreements, Shaq and Shaunie reached an agreement that they would end their relationship. They are now filing for divorce in Miami-Dade Circuit Court. This is a huge blow to Shaquille, as it means that he will have to go through with a separation from his wife that he has wanted since they met when she was just 18 years old.

Shaunie O’Neal, better known as Shaunie O’Neal, is now engaged to her boyfriend, Keion D. Henderson. The couple married on Saturday (May 28) at the beautiful Aurora Anguilla Resort and Golf Club.

Shaunie has always been a social media darling and has become one of the most popular stars on TV over the past few years. She is best known for her show “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and for her role as Mrs Evans on the NBA basketball team Miami Heat.

Pastor Henderson is an ordained minister who has worked in the church for many years. He currently leads a church in Charlotte, North Carolina. The pair decided to get married shortly after their first wedding anniversary in May of 2017.

Career

Shaquille Rashaun O’Neal was drafted with the 1st overall pick in the 1992 NBA draft. He quickly established himself as one of the top players in the league, playing for the Orlando Magic and later becoming a member of the Boston Celtics. O’Neal is considered one of the greatest players to ever play in the NBA, and his skills on both ends of the court have made him one of the most popular players in history.

In the early 1990s, Shaquille Rashaun O’Neal wore number 32 because Terry Catledge refused to relinquish the 33 jerseys. The players on the Heat roster at the time (including O’Neal) lobbied for Miami to give up their third jersey, but it was never meant to be. In fact, it’s believed that Catledge was offended by Rashaun’s choice and would not let him wear the number on his own behalf.

Shaquille Rashaun O’Neal was named the 1993 NBA Rookie of the Year and was the first rookie to be voted MVP. The 6’10” centre from Miami, FL, was also a part of the 1994-1995 Orlando Magic team that became one of the most successful in franchise history.

After being drafted by the Miami Heat with the first overall pick in the 1992 NBA Draft, Rashaun O’Neal quickly made an impact on his new team. In his rookie season, he helped lead Miami to a franchise-record 54 wins and reached the playoffs for the first time in their history. He was also selected as MVP of that year’s playoffs, becoming only the third player in league history to receive this distinction.
